Holguin, also named 'The city of Parks', is the capital of the province Holguin. Because Holguin lies in the south of Cuba it has a mild tropical climate. The ever blowing trade winds make it a pleasant place even in the heath of the summer.

Holguin is the fourth largest city of Cuba with a population of 326,740 and is an important trade and transportation hub. (click here for a map).
